The Inlet.
Ships in the bay tug at anchor
chains, bows point to the sea,
time now to leave, a busy ship
is meant for the big ocean and
adventures; tranquil bays are
for mast-less sail boats, dingy
and blue rowing boats, as terns
cry, wait for the cook to throw
left over food into green water.
