illusions

Illusions

You were so warm and tender,
so giving in bed that I thought
you felt as I.

Mind, you have busy life, often
didn’t see you for a long time,
never ask why, for when you came
back all was ok.

Winter gone, spring, I loved you
more than ever, tried not to think
why you stayed away, till I got
this dreaded call; another man.

The pink bubble burst, for a moment
engulfed by hate and dark thoughts
of revenge, but it was my own fault,
knew all along, but refused to open
my eyes and see reality.
