Deadly Plants.
Through the white
net curtains, slowly
turning sepia-
don’t know why-
I can see
the rhododendron
I planted
ten years ago,
it has strangled
the lean-to and
is heading
for the kitchen window.
Must remember to
keep it shut or it
will enter
look pretty, for
a while, then strangle me
and the house
