A New Launch.

I can see it now, sun paled rocks by the sea
nuns in a rowing boat and terns glued to
the calm, blue sky; I lived there once where
eternal summer reigned till crisp snow fell
covering the land with hushed wonder and
the aroma of home baked bread; till Easter
lilies and green grass reappeared. I know,
there is no way back, yet, what I have lost
will always stay with me; the ethereal dream
of an Eden lost.
