Radio Voices.
How kind they are the pair on the radio,
both in their thirties talking about literature,
the nice, safe kind and how to raise children.
However, they do disagree, slightly, as one
of them has a bigger garden than the other.
Not for one moment do they discuss, how
those with no or little money are going to
raise their children, say, in a small flat on
the fifth floor of a tenement building
If asked they would look incredulous at you
and change the subject, if pressed they would
tell you that the point is to have a nice talk
on the radio, not to change the world or be
a sweaty, rabble rousing socialist.
