dignity

Dignity

So they hanged him then…
Saddam Hussein,
“Defiant to the end,” they said;
I call it dignity.

Taunted him they did had
expected him to fall on his
knees, beg for his life, so
they could laugh a bit more.

Miserable Tableaux.

Now he’s a martyr and his
name lives, so they made
him a favour.

And it took a brutal dictator
to teach the world about true
…courage.
